What you need

  • 8 slices brioche loaf
  • 1kg Pauls Vanilla custard
  • 180g good quality chocolate, roughly chopped
  • Softened butter, for greasing the baking dish

How To Make It

  1. Preheat oven to 160C. Lightly grease a large baking dish with softened butter.
  2. Cut brioche loaf into small pieces and place in 1.5lt baking dish.
  3. Roughly chop chocolate & scatter over brioche.
  4. Pour over the Pauls custard.
  5. Set aside for 30 minutes, allowing the brioche to absorb the custard.
  6. Place the baking dish in a water bath and carefully place in oven.
  7. Cook for 1 hour.
  8. Remove from oven and allow to cool on wire rack for 10 minutes before serving.
  9. Serve with extra Pauls Custard.
