Berry Chia
And Nut Booster
Smoothie
How To Make It
- Place chia seeds and water in a small bowl. Stand for 10 minutes.
- Place all ingredients (including soaked chia seeds) in a blender. Blend until smooth.
- Pour into a tall serving glass. Serve immediately.
-
You can use the chia seeds un-soaked, but soaking makes them more easily digestible and absorbed. You can soak for longer, or even have a bowlful soaked and ready to go in the fridge for use in smoothies, pudding, and dressings.
-
You could use frozen mixed berries in this recipes instead of fresh berries.
